So this week I started a couple classes. One is Website Design using DreamWeaver (Don't laugh, it's required for my degree and will give me an easy A). Anyway, imagine my surprise when for the first few weeks of class, we are NOT using DreamWeaver, but MS Expression Web. So I install this program and start doing the classes, and I am having a serious case of Deja Vu. Expression Web is almost exactly like Dreamweaver. So much so that I wonder if MS didn't just outright take their codebase and change the UI a little to make it look different. Anyway, no point to this message, just a general rant/observation. On the bright side of all this, I finally broke down and installed VM Ware on my Macbook Pro since my remaining classes require applications that ONLY run on Windows, and man I really like it with Windows 7 on it. So now I can completely say goodbye to my two Windows laptops. I will send them to my wife's family in the Philippines so they can get some good use out of them.
