mentioned was at some point prior to failure a leftist state.

And yes even theological states can be leftist, you know of the Christian
socialists in Europe, the baath party were.  Afghanistan was socialist and
communist at turns.  Pakistan is.  Even the monarchies aside from Saudi
usually at least pretend to be limited.

Somalia is also a failed leftist state.

What were the factors at play that destroyed these places?
