Overall it looks good, though as a niche market/site I didn't realize I was
on an e-commerce site at first.

There is some inconsistency in the way things are presented on the first
page. You have this nice graphic for "latest news" and then straight text
for "Shop our online gallery" and "Newest Items." You're also mixing serif
& sans-serif and font sizes seem to be discombobulated. They may be the
same but they don't appear that way given the color difference (news is
dark green and new item details are white).

I almost suggested moving the "Shop our online gallery" up into your nav
bar until I realized it was the same link as the "Art Gallery" link.

I'd clean up the text, create an image for "newest items" and move the shop
link up to the header (next to the shopping cart, probably with an image
instead of text).

Have you run a heat-map analytics on the site?

Every cloud does have a silver lining. Sometimes you just have to do some
