beyond that, when there *is* evidence of fraud, ACORN was the victim. They
made the mistake of paying by the voter registered at one point, so they
wound up with some duplicate and fabricated registrations. Might make them
dumb, sure. When I worked for them briefly during the Kerry campaign
though, they paid by the hour and were very strict about what they
accepted. I had a form where the man forgot to check that he was over 21,
and they through it out even though I assured them that the man was at
least 65.
