I have extreme views on some issues and I rarely expect people to agree with me on those views. However, it would nice to be able to discuss them without being labeled or attacked.
Not sure that will ever happen here, so I'm just going to bow out of the politics. The friendships I have made here are more important to me than having a forum for expressing my political views. I've been dealing with some serious medical issues, I feel very frail and old, and I no longer have the energy to share space - even virtual space - with those whose behavior toward me feels threatening. I guess this means the attack cadre has won the battle for the list. Too bad, because it has been fun sharing ideas and opinions over the years. Love to you all. I will miss (most of) you.
