"I hate getting old, but the alternative is not a better option. "
ain’t this the truth.

"My question is can I do both the Physical Therapy and the chiropractor? "

Maybe not the same scenario as you - I don’t know your issues… your mileage
will vary.

My body kept hurting really bad for several years - every day… all the time.

I couldn’t stand up or lay down without hurting.

I went in for several check-ups - and (I was lucky… I was afraid of cancer)

— the diagnosis was basically - my "core system" was extremely weak.

This was very difficult for me take (but better than cancer)… considering 20
years ago - I had 2 black belts.

That’s what very long hours, a wife, and 2 kids will do to you (ie: life).

In short - I did really have a “medical condition”… I was just not being
active enough… and I was slowly dying.

I stopped going to the chiropractor - and I didn’t do physical therapy
(against the drs. suggestion).

PT never did anything for me before… and I am very strong willed person.

So instead… I decided to dig a trench. Literally… like I did when I young.

I spent 6 weeks hand digging a 250 foot - 24 inch deep trench for my new
"underground rain system".

I also cut / installed / glued all the piping (4” schedule 40).

In the process… I lost over 30 pounds…. remember - in 6 weeks. About 5
pounds of that is water… the rest was fat

My physician told me what I did was incredible… and went a long ways to
letting me live longer.

He also said (even though I was now in the “safe zone”) - I needed to keep
it up.

I don’t need another trench… so instead I bought the T-25 Program (25
minutes of exercise everyday)

— and I do it. everyday.

Interesting thing is… I have not had to return to my chiropractor.

Probably, but I would ask your physical therapist and also your
chiropractor. If they are doing their job they are both going to ask you
what other treatments you may be undergoing anyway. I would expect that the
therapist's focus will be to strengthen the muscles that support your neck
and your chiropractor will be more about resolving immediate symptoms, but
I am not a doctor.

If your initial diagnosis was from your primary care physician I would
discuss it with that doctor too. Just like there are 10 ways to wrote the
same line of code there are ten ways to interpret medicine. More opinions
are always a good thing.

I know you know this already but even though this email list is good for
moral support - I would seek those opinions from your own doctors
regardless of anyone's opinions on this email list.
