Unless it would be in violation of a content distribution contract they have with cable companies outside of the UK. Then it would cost a lot, measured in lawyers stacked to the rafters. Some contracts restrict content beyond what you would think it would include (video). Old school media companies are struggling to keep up with the pace of internet innovation and it's not just technology problems they have. Many have really long multiyear contracts that specifically restrict them from participating in any new innovations during those time periods. It's starting to look like those contracts are getting better though with HBOGO recently announcing plans to offer access without a cable subscription. I don't know how this could impact access in other countries though. -Cameron ... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:372817 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
