Meh, you hear mostly the bad.....but the majority of US veterans had an extremely positive experience during and after their service. I've heard numerous people tell me that the military literally saved their lives. For many people it is the sole source of learned discipline and maturity in their lives. Yeah, there are some problems, some big problems......but discipline, respect, service, responsibility, self respect, accountability...these are still extremely valuable attributes that are demanded of our servicemen.
