> So when the little 1st grader comes home and says "Daddy! Little Billy > doesn't have a mom and a dad! He's got 2 daddies!! And they act just > like you and mom do! They came and picked Billy up from class today and > they had their arms around each other when they were leaving. And I saw > them kiss after they put Billy in the car." ... > > What do you say to your child?
I was thinking about this and I think this is much easier to explain (some people have two daddies instead of a mommy and a daddy) than a kid with two mommies and two daddies (i.e. divorced and remarried parents). I remember as a kid being very confused by a friends family - two sets of parents all called mom and dad, step sibs on one side and half sibs on the other. Was really quite a conundrum for me - I could not understand how one could have TWO sets of mommy's and daddy's. ______________________________________________________________________ Signup for the Fusion Authority news alert and keep up with the latest news in ColdFusion and related topics. http://www.fusionauthority.com/signup.cfm Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists
