It has been absolutely beautiful this week, mid 80's, very blue sky, low
humidity...
Course last week we were in the high 90's....ug...too sticky to do
anything outside.

whew - it's 98F outside at 5-ish pm
but only 18% humidity so not oppressive

but gotta drink lots of water or there's this loud
sucking noise as all the water goes out and you shrivel
up like a raisin <grin>

they've issued fire danger warnings
'cause it's so dry

they're even having heat in San Francisco - no usual
marine layer of fog cooling off the bay

we're used to heat in the summer out here beyond the
hills, and have a/c - a lot of folks on the coast don't
:-(  for them
