That is quite unrelated to what is told about this hack. The hack is 
just a simple man-in-the-middle attack which works for any website that 
is visited by IE.

I know for a fact that this scenario has been exploited to find 
passwords from people visiting servers running Solaris/Apache. There may 
be other reasons not to do banking on Windows, but there wil always be 
client programs with sloppy standard implementations.
