I have a good friend that is a consultant, builds/installs computer systems
and networks, all PC stuff.

Never wanted to touch a Mac had no use for them, etc.

Until he picked up a client that was a Mac only office. So he bought one (I
think it was one of the Power Computing clones).

He called me up a few days after getting his and announced that he had
finally figured out what the appeal of the Mac was...

"It's a shovel," he said, "It does some tasks very well, just like a shovel,
but there are some tasks it just isn't suited for."

of course, that was before the day's of OS X, I guess now the Mac can bake
bread, clean your floors and cure cancer...

:-)
