It took them 10 days to find the truck after being warned about it by
ISAF forces. How exactly does that equate to doing a better job than
US intelligence without warning not stopping 3 747's being hijacked by
highly funded terrorist cells?

I'd say taking 10 days to find a truck after being told about it in
advance is pretty damn poor. Seeing as the article explains that it
was our people who told them about the truck in the first place I
don't think their incompetence would have made much difference,
because the ISAF or the American forces would have stepped in sooner
or later.
