In Boston another CFer (Emile?) and I got Steve Nelson to go out for drinks with us after the last day of the conference. By the time we left the hotel we had Steve, Michael and Judith, Shlomy Gantz, Michael Imhoff and a few others with us. We ended up at a kosher Chinese restaurant (won't find one of those here in Spokane, although there's a lot of Chinese restaurants). Then off to some bar and back to the hotel. Got to meet Robi Sen and, shoot, forgot another name here, but one of the guys from Able Commerce. We ended up shooting the BS until 4:00AM, of course with a 6:00 AM flight back home. Can't say I contributed much to the conversation, but it was great listening to some extremely bright, and interesting, people talk CF and the CF community.
Anyone from the '99 conference remember the <cf_kickass> t-shirts? Or the Fusebox T-shirts! That conference was a great haul for T-shirts ... lol. So Erika, did you leave the Pacific Northwest to go to the UK? Dan -----Original Message----- From: Erika L. Ha ha de ha ha. ;) What about when you were rollerblading through the lobby in your Yankees bikini and some guy pulled the knot in the back and you lost your top????? ;) Anyways .... My favorite DevCon moment is of course meeting Phil in person, falling in love with him, and ultimately getting married to him in December. :) ... Which led to me moving to a wonderful country, meeting new people and finally finding my *home*. A high second moment would be hanging around community suite, pestering Mike and Judith and listening to Daniel Kemp talk for hours and hours and learning so many new things!. Then of course, there's drinking with Howie and Christopher out in the lobby. A definite favorite! ;) Oh there's so many more CF-Underground, Fusebox Conf, MM events .... It was just a wonderful time. <sigh> Erika ------------------------------------------------ >>| -----Original Message----- >>| From: Beth F [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] >>| >>| My favorite moment was when Erika got up on the bar in the >>| lobby and danced with her skirt over her head, yelling "The >>| Mariners Rule" ______________________________________________________________________ This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
