I have the same issue with my archos 20 gb portable mp3 player (that's right I can listen to them ANYWHERE!!!!) I have no been able to get past this issue either. But if you get the windows powertools there is something about turning off autoplay, may want to check that out. It hasn't bothered me enough to fix it. Mostly because I only have to connect it to my computer to transfer new cds to it.

(Which I would recommend to everyone - using a USB drive kit is a great way to add a HD to your system and make it a portable as well.) Anyway, everytime I turn it on, Auto Play fires off and it tries to catalog all the MP3s. (Why else do you think I got a 120 gigs? ;) No matter what I do - I can't turn this off. Under Auto Play for the HD props, and for all media types, I've selected Take No Action, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Any ideas? One thing I haven't tried yet is turning it on _before_ the main machine boots. That could possibly fix it I guess. ======================================================================= Raymond Camden, ColdFusion Jedi Master for Hire Email : [EMAIL PROTECTED] Yahoo IM : cfjedimaster "My ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is." - Yoda ______________________________________________________________________ Structure your ColdFusion code with Fusebox.
