A psychiatrist might tell you the fact that you're conscious of your heartbeat at all says you're nervous about something. If you just stopped taking your pulse all together I bet it would slow down. But of course you wouldn't know if it worked because you stopped taking your pulse right ;)
Exercise will help you maintain a more consistent, slower heart beat. If you're not into physical activity, try breathing exercises. A quick search on google turned this link up: http://www.breath.org/breathing-tips/ Once you get over 150bpm without exercise is when you should probably start considering a valium ;) Adam. ps. I used to wonder in high school why I'd be jittery at the end of the day after drinking like 10 mountain dews. Stopped doing the dew and it all went away. They really don't educate you very well in high school. pss. I'm not a doctor, so don't take what I have to say very seriously. > -----Original Message----- > From: Phoeun Pha [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Monday, September 23, 2002 10:48 AM > To: CF-Community > Subject: My HeartBeat > > > Hey guys, I am sitting here not even doing much movement and > my heartbeat > rate was 97 beats per second. > > is that bad? > eh heh > > > ______________________________________________________________________ This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
