For my upcoming move from San Francisco to Atlanta I am working with United Van Lines. They responded right away to my request for a quote and had a person out to my place at my earliest convenience. The estimator brought with him a handheld computer and portable printer. He surveyed my stuff, asked what services I wanted, and then printed out a binding estimate right then. They were able to quickly and efficiently take care of all the special cases that made my move more complicated than normal e.g. living in a high-rise downtown with no room for a 53' truck.
