As the editor of an online magazine, and a writer in my own right, I have mixed feelings about blogs. If the person blogging is a good writer, and a responsible self-editor, or has someone else editing his or her blog, then I think that blog might be a great resource and add something valuable to the general Web world. And I'm all for experimentation. But are all blogs equal? Just because it's a blog does not automatically make it good.
Also, a lot would depend upon how the blog was organized -- Blogs are generally more stream of consciousness, aren't they? I just don't like getting the feeling that if it's not a blog, it's old hat. It could be my own misinterpretation that this is what people think ...
