Actually, I wanted to go to Trinidad because it's not touristy. I wanted
to get the REAL deal.
I'm going to have to think on this....

Ok well since it's a serious question,

Trinidad is an interesting choice if you know someone in Trinidad that
can take you around, parties, night spots etc.

There are places like Acer Rite nature center, the Pointe A Pierre
Wildfowl Trust, and other places.

But where you would really like to visit, is our Tourist Island of
Tobago. LOVELY beaches, and everything is oriented toward tourists.
That's something that Trinidad isn't. Trinidad is more industry and
commerce..Tobago is tourists.

It costs 300TT or about 47US for a plane ticket to Tobago, or you can
take the Ferry (but if you do and I'm taking you around I'll be flying
and you and your friend can take the waves of De Bocas crossing
*smirk*)

But then again Rio is a nice place. It depends on whether you want to
experience a little caribbean environment, or whether you want sordid
sexually charged wild fun.

Not that you can't get that in the Caribbean as well but..
Hee hee hee ^_^

Actually my friend and I are trying to figure out where to go for a
vacation. She has a timeshare that has places all around the world.
Trinidad was my first choice, followed by Rio de Janerio.
