Why would he? It was never part of the resolutions. Should he just give 
away soevereignity?

I agree there.

But if in doing so the precedent is set that the international community 
can just take away soevereignity whenever they feel like it, countries 
with reservations towards institutions such as the ICC should perhaps 
think twice.
