My Heat just came on. The first time it happened in the new house. The house is oil heat, but does not have warm air vents. There is an old-style radiator in just about every room.
Are these things supposed to be blowing steam or is something seriously amiss? I don't remember my grandmothers house doing that. Have ever seen a movie where the hero has to get away and he shoots a pipe above the bad guys head and all the steam rushes out? That is what my radiators look like. It too 15 minutes to fog up every window in my house and my house sounds like a rain forest (or at least a Rain Forest Cafe Restaurant) and in some rooms if feels like a sauna. Condensation is dripping off the radiators into the rugs, so I turned off most of the radiators. I'm not sure if I should call my homeowners warranty company or the oil company first. I will be happy that no nearby papers / curtains / whatever caught fire overnight. -- Jeffry Houser | mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Need a Web Developer? Contact me!
