Well, my point would be to actually hang out where the locals go. I don't mind ending up somewhere with a cover, I live in Midtown Atlanta and am use to paying for a good club. It's worth it to go exploring one or two nights... I'll be there a whole week. Might as well see some sites... I have a friend or two down there too who know their way around the hot spots...
