Why you young punks! Back in my day, if we wanted an e-lek-tronik game, we
took two live wires and licked 'em. People talk now-a-days about how
shocking games and such are, but we /started/ the whole idea of shocking
games. We'd even zap each other, for the shocking violence.

Bah, these new games got no kick. Now where'd I put that nine-volt?

: It's funny. As soon as someone mentions something like the Amiga it gets
: into a pissing match as to what was the oldest, crappiest machine people
: worked with. I know I kinda started it, but it's just a funny behavioral
: observation.
:
: Yes, I used a trash80. I used a TI-99. Heck, a friend and I did
: BBSing with
: a TI-99. I used a TRS-somethingorother that was a prototypical laptop. It
: had a built-in screen, keyboard and all and came with a leatherette slip
: case. I never used punch cards, but I did have an account on a
: Cray X-MP. I
: was an Atari 2600 junky and spent $50 on Pac-Man the day it came out. I
: wrote games on the Apple I. I played with the Atari Jaguar. I drooled over
: the Apple Lisa.
:
: For all that, I most want to use the computer I'm using right
: now. Or maybe
: the one I'll be building next week.
