I keep getting a phone call every couple of days from SprintPCS. It is
important that I call them. They give me a number.

I finally gave in and call the number, in hopes of forcing them to stop
this telemarketing SPAM.
The second phone number is an automated system, saying my account is
over-due. I can either pay or try to make payment arrangements.

Keep in mind that I am not a SprintPCS customer, nor do I have a cell
phone. I click the payment arrangement button, in hopes that it will get
me to a person.

It does, and I bitch and moan. They tell me that they have no record of
my account or phone number. ( Duh.. )
They tell me to call customer care and give me a number.

That number is another automated system. It won't let me get anywhere
without giving them a valid SprintPCS phone number. It hangs up on me
twice. If I hit the number zero, it tells me I made a wrong choice.

Mind you, I can't give a valid SprintPCS number because I don't have an
account with Sprint).

I grab a sales line from the web-site and call that. Of course, that one
is answered immediately. They give me a new customer service number, and
transfer me.

Now I'm hold. Someone picked up after 15 minutes. They said they can't
help me because I don't have an account and there is no reason why they
would be calling me. I argue with them and they eventually re-direct me
back to the original number.

The original number people take care of it (the second time I called).

I am not normally one with anger management issues, but I I was pretty
peeved off. I guess the person who had this phone number before me is the
one overdue on her account.

: grumbles, grumbles, grumbles: Another lost hour.
