TGIF, everybody I'm really tired. Glad it's Friday.
Wed. night went to an evening class/lecture with wifey, got paged from work about a problem. Had to go in from 10pm to after midnight. Then at 3am we had power failure from the storm - woken up by UPS on daughter's pc beeping. Then at 5am when power came back on, it triggered a couple of X10 modules, and lights in our bedroom came on full blast. <sigh> So Thursday at work I was a bit fuzzy, and all heck broke loose. Thurs. night we had this *AWESOME* dinner at the elegant Blackhawk Grille sponsored by Beaulieu Vineyards - a "symphony of wine and food" they called it, in "movements", with wines paired with each course. Would you believe eight (8) wines from appetizers to dessert? Host was BV's head winemaker. Was really neat to listen to and talk with him. Then driving home in the rain, late, tired... arriving home to find the power completely out. Getting ready for bed by candlelight. Soooo, do I get to rest tonight and sleep late tomorrow? Nope. Wifey and I gotta pack, am flying out in the a.m. to spend the 3-day weekend at Disneyland. Guess I shouldn't complain <grin>.
