Ohh, I feel for you.  Thoguh I still laugh.  I would try and introduce them
in a controlled environment ie you and a strong leash or maybe the strong
leash tied to a strong radiator in a room. But that's tough now that the
cats terrified.  I'd givie it a go but I'd take off the kittie gloves for a
whiel until the dogs got some respect!  Plus, I think it would be ok if you
took him back.  As long as your saving a dog from the pound your doing good.
I mean jeez if you save a dog but kill a cat, well, youre not doing much
good!  DRE

Also realize this means you cant have a friend who has a cat do any
dogwatching.  That took out about 20% of my friends. And keneling the poor
thing is expensive!  DRE
