But isn't everyone prejudice to a greater or larger extent?

I think its good when the extreme views come out in the open, it makes
everyone aware

To reply to my own reply - it's also mirrored in Christian belief:

Proverbs 18:2 "A fool does not delight in understanding, but only in
revealing his own mind."
