Actually, DCMA was signed into law by Bill Clinton, and this new law is designed and supported by a collection of Democrats.
BTW, I am a registered Democrat but I am thinking that this bill is ridiculous. It basically gives control of the entire electronic spectrum to large companies who already own TV, Radio and newspapers.
