hahah that is beautiful! Man when i was up in MD ATT was great for my LongDistance service but once i moved to florida they turned into a company like NTL. MY LD service got cut off 5 times because someone else named William Wheatley had not paid his bill after the fifth time i changed providers now i use some other company that is great 4 centers inter & intra state and 6 second billing increments its awesome.
But after dropping ATT for my LD a year passed and i was using bellsouth DSL, not the best service but it had never been for more then and hour over the past 3 years. So i decide let me try a cable modem, i call ATT and they say i am eligble for digitial cable, phone & cable modem. They get me setup for tv and then i'm getting ready to try my new service out and i was telling the guy hay i'm not getting a connection. After about an hour of debugging they go out back to find out I DONT EVEN HAVE DIGITAL!!!. THe guys like wow you dont have digital line run yet. That was an utter lack of brains involved with that but then after 6 months they finally do lay some fiber and i can get digital cable and the service was god awful and sometimes i could get decent speeds but after a few weeks with it i dropped it and stayed with my DSL. I know in someplaces cable is by far the better choice then DSL but not with ATT broadband in south florida, they are trully appalling. And for anyone this was not a work friendly article so if your boss will be pissed about you doing non work stuff for a few minutes please dont read this :).
