You think he should be removed?

Well lets play devils advocate. He didn't say anything blatantly racist, he said
there would have been less turmoil if Strom had been elected president. Now there is
implied racism due to the fact that Strom ran on a segregation platform, but he could
as easily been talking about fiscal responsibility or some other conservative issue.
Also even if he had been blatantly racist, should he really be removed? I mean aren't
we the champions of free speech? So shouldn't he be allowed to say what he thinks,
even if no one else in the world agrees with him?

A disturbing side note. Strom and Trent are both elected officials. They both have
made remarks of this sort before. They still get elected all the time. Now if their
constituents think these are the people that should be representing them shouldn't
they still have that right?

I don't know how I personally feel about this. I think the republicans would be wise
to find a new senate majority leader, but how could he be removed from office?

As to Iraq, well I think it's time for good old sadaam to go. I mean this dewd tried
to whack a president. We KNOW this is true. That's about as bad an act of war as I
can think of. If we let him stay in power I think we are only going to allow him to
continue weapons production is secret and as he gains strength he will reach out
looking for alliances, maybe Iran or North Korea. Who knows. I just think it's time
for him to stop breathing now, as well as his immediate family, no kids laying around
to make trouble or look for revenge. Clean house.
