Most of the spam I get goes to either a webmaster@ address for one of my domains (I have tons of them) or it goes to my mindspring mailboxes with the name munged. The webmaster addresses aren't harvested because some of them have never been posted, so I assume that the spammers just put webmaster@ in front of all the domains they scraped from the old internic database that used to be public. >People spidering for names inevitably will find you sooner or later and >presto, spam... The only way any anti-spam legislation is going to be effective is if the spammers are forced to purge all existing lists, and start over, and for spidering for names to be totally illegal. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=5 Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
