We saw some of that ... Petrol at 71.9 a liter!!! It's typically 77-79 here in Croydon. ;) It was a fabulous trip and will definitely go back for a summer outing. Want to take some of the seaside walks. Though, I happened to see recently (like Sunday) what was in my opinion, the most fantastic castle I've seen so far in England ... Even outdoing the Tower of London ... Dover Castle! ENORMOUS!!!! And you get to drive over the moat! (we didn't go in as we stopped by after they were closed, but we did stop in the middle of the bridge over the moat.) The views are breathtaking! You've got the castle and it's outer walls on one side of you to a sheer drop ... And on the other side is the Channel view (Straights of Dover). I've no idea if it's the largest, but wow, it was impressive. Can't wait to go back and get inside the walls ...
