Been there, seen that. Have you ever had Studio save a file your working on as a different file in a different directory?
Picture this: Editing index.cfm in directory A. Create new folder (in Studio) in directory B (under directory A). Create new file "index.cfm" in directory B. Edit B's index.cfm. Save. Switch back to A's index.cfm. Notice that A's index.cfm is now overwritten with B's index.cfm. Happens all the time with the folks here. It's very aggravating. -V -----Original Message----- From: jon hall [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, January 09, 2003 12:46 PM To: CF-Community Subject: #$%$ing Studio... Anyone ever had Studio freak out and transpose a characters in different places, turning code to gobbledygook? Happens infrequently to me, but it just hosed a huge block of javascript, then threw an invalid pointer error. Sigh... One of these days I'm going to pick up a different language with a decent IDE, and wave goodbye to this crap. -- jon mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=5 Signup for the Fusion Authority news alert and keep up with the latest news in ColdFusion and related topics. http://www.fusionauthority.com/signup.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
