One of the ferries is very modern, so it probably has excellent facilities for disabled travelers - http://www7.stenaline.co.uk/servlet/se.ementor.econgero.servlet.presentation .Main?data.node.id=4254&data.language.id=2
Another place you may like to think about if you enjoy books is Hay-on-Wye, its on the border of Wales and England in a really beautful area - although the sea is an hour or two away. Hay is one of the few booktowns in the world, there are dozens of bookshops with literally millions of books, there are people there that can get just about any book ever printed - http://www.hay-on-wye.co.uk It's also where the UK's largest literary festival is held - http://www.hayfestival.co.uk/, which tends to attract top authors and speakers, President Clinton spoke there the year before last for example, and last year they had Phillip Pullman, Paulo Coelho, Ian McEwan, Oliver Sacks, Helen Feilding, and Norman Mailer amongst others. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Maureen" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CF-Community" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, January 07, 2003 10:54 AM Subject: Re: Wales > At 05:16 AM 1/7/03, Wayne wrote: > >It is a nice place, more like a traditional seaside resort than many places > >on the coast - its even got a pier. > > It sounds lovely.
