Hmm.  The obvious answer is that the registers in the bedrooms are closed
down.  But, of course, you've already checked that.  :-)

It could be just a badly designed duct system, but if you've been there a
while you probably would have noticed that bad airflow would be a constant
thing, not something new.

If you've got animals, one of them could have dragged something up in there
and blocked airflow.  For that matter, your cat could have found a warm
place to sleep at night!

If it were me, I'd close down the registers elsewhere in the house, make
sure the fan is on (as opposed to on 'auto') and see what kind of airflow
I'm getting.  If it still seems sluggish, you might have to go spelunking to
find out what's wrong.
