Just because we did something bad in the past does not mean we can't
comdemn it now. We are allowed to learn and grow, correct? I'm sure
other countries condemned us for our bad acts - and rightly so. I'm not
saying we should nuke the country out of existence - but that they are
simply doing something wrong. (Well, in this case, techinically, the
country punished the guy - I really mean the culture that treats women
in that manner.)

As for not casting the first stone... taken to the extreme that would
mean no one could complain about anything.
