I would use RowanMedia.net or RowanMedia.info (which are both
available).
Maybe consider changing the logo.

We have quite a few .info names... We added .info to our plate about 6
months ago.

In this case I would probably do "RowanMedia.com"  Or change the name of
the company to "RedWall".

Not very... People are still very used to ".com".  Using your example:

1) They would have to remember the name of the company (obviously).

2) They would have to remember that the red wall in the logo translates
to the domain.

3) They would have to rememeber the domain extension (not a common one).

There's a lot of translating and remembering there.

Even if "Rowan.com" was available I'd advise getting "RowanMedia.com" as
well - if thecard says Rowan Media then that should be what the domain
name is.
