Can a landlord refuse to give back your security deposit if you do not give a 30-day notice?
Rent is paid in full to the end of this month and room is clean, but landlord refuses to give back security deposit because a full 30-day notice was not give. Landlord claims it is the law. No signed paperwork stating this either. BTW.. State of California...
