Won't be coding anymore, eh?

My last job before this one was described to me the same way.

Did little else besides code Cold Fusion and build 508 compliant Web sites.

To answer all the questions:

Its a change of jobs. My current job recently started to blow chunks in
December after I was persecuted by human resources for something I didn't
do. I lost all faith in this place, hated being here and felt sick all the
time. Then, my dream job was advertised in the Sunday paper, sometime in
January. What luck. I sent my resume and heard nothing. Finally, I got a
call, and an interview. Loved the job, thought I had a good chance and went
home hopeful. After the supposed day of decision came and went last week I
assumed I hadn't gotten the job. I assumed wrong - they offered me the job
yesterday.

Sadly, I will no longer be doing much in the way of coding. Happily, I will
be doing more project management and technical advisory work. The
organization is the alaska primary care association - its a non-profit
organization of all of the community health care clinics in alaska. They
lobby for money, educate the clinic management, pool resources and help
advise these clinics. Its a new position - so I kind of get to create the
job in my image. I will be involved in telemedicine projects, electronic
medical record stuff - and will get to work with some very cool people.

It pays a little more but the benefits aren't as good. Thats ok, I would
have taken a pay cut to get out of here.
