Hey everyone, just curious if anyone knows how to fix an error within the Microsoft management console, basically anytime I fire up a shortcut to a management console program in Windows XP I get the following error message:
"MMC Cannot open the file <file path to shortcut name>" "This may be because the file does not exist, is not an MMC console, or was created by a later version of MMC, this may also be because you did not have sufficient access rights to the file" Anyways I tried going to microsoft and found a link here which did not help, so don't think about using this. I have plenty of HD space (50GB) and my temp variable is pointing to a valid directory. Any clues? http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;231757 Your help is much appreciated, thanks!
