Yeah, they are fully owned by and part of a larger media conglomerate these
days.

When I interviewed at Shandwick, I met a former RF director who filled me in
on the details. A number of media and interactive companies are all owned by
a single, larger firm that does business under various names (he described
RF as a 'boutique' firm, which made me blush).

Can't say I remember the name of the big company, but I know these guys are
hooked in with them:

I don't think it is "them" anymore.

I thought I remembered reading something a while back that they were bought
out by some other company in Utah or something. Haven't really heard much
about them in a long time. Seems I used to always hear some buzz about
something new and cool they were doing. Haven't heard anything like that in
a long time. But the name at least is, in this industry, and a "moldy oldy".

Tis a rare thing for web shops to have held out so long. The one I work for
has now been around for a little over 6 years and still going strong with
more work than we can keep up with. I certainly wish all of you the same
luck out there.

You guys are great as is this list.

So, (in the words of Shakespeare) "bite your thumb" at the economy and kick
some ass...=)

They've been using it for years. I worked on a site they had done about
four years ago (www.kabloom.com) which was all done in CF. I really didn't
know that they were still in business... Good for them!
