An amphallang is a straight barbell that goes horizontally through under the head. A Prince Charles is a ring that goes vertically in through the hole and out through the top. It was reputedly used by it's namesake with a scarf tied to it and down to the leg below the knee stretching the member to avoid large bulges under tight stockings. Or so the story goes.
