Boat. It just takes a few months ;-)

Geez, just visiting Paris takes me almost a week.

>I heard rail is the best way. True? Comments?

If you want to visit 6 countries in 18 days it probably is the best way because you
could try to book sleepers. Won't be a full night sleep, but much better than sleeping
in any other form of transportation and it doesn't cut in the limited hours of daytime
you have. And trains bring you into the city, while airports are usually far outside
cities.

But I would reconsider visiting 6 countries.
