Which justice benefitted and how? My personal opinion on matters such as these is that if there is the slightest appearance of impropriety, that it is wrong. But Clinton, Gore, and every democrat in Congress disagrees with me. He should have recused himself.
To quote Gore, "There is no controlling legal authority." -----Original Message----- From: Larry C. No what I think is that if it had been any other court, if the justices had a proprietary interest in the case would have recused themselves from the case. I find it highly unethical that a justice who stood to benefit from the decision would not have recused himself. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=5 Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
