This is nothing new. Being british still means the sun never sets. The U.S. was commonly referred to in the House of Commons as 'the former colonies' and sometimes as 'the wayward colonies' right up until WWI.

It's from an article talking about how it's in the UK. 'The Health Minister in Hong Kong, where nearly 100 people have been infected, has described the number of people infected in the former British colony as "very alarming".' Former British colony? LOL! Sure it's true, but hell, you could also say "Former part of Pangea" for all it really matters to the issue at hand. -Kevin ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=5 Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
