Sorry. I know I shouldn't be teasing you. You'd think I'd have more
sympathy, having been diagnosed with diabetes at age 15 in the most
candy-centric nation in the world (except Belgium :-)
I /do/ know it's hard to eat well. My family had to adapt after my Dad's
first heart attack. I guess it was fortunate in a way that I had already
begun the process.
If you're every down this way, I'll make it up to you -- I'll cook something
that's good, low in cholesterol and saturated fats, has a reasonable amount
of sodium (I won't promise 'low-sodium' per se, but I use less than most
cooks), and will fill you up.
Don't worry about the last bit -- I'm used to cooking for five. <eg>
