Oh I can't think of the name...I remember the ray gun. And he was purple. I know that in the movie, Megatron became him.
The yellow good guy was Bumblebee. The bad guy tape player was Shockwave, I don't remember the birds name. The white jet with red was Starscream who was a bad guy. The base was Metrolplex.
