IIRC, you also have to go in and set the permissions on the folder itself --
not through the IIS manager, but through Windows itself. PITA.

: Subject: Super speedy IIS Q?
:
:
: How do I make users associated with directories.
:
: We don't use NT domains.
:
: Say I have a directory I want to limit access to using IIS.
:
: So I create a user in Computer Management, then go to IIS MC and right
: click--> properties--> security.
:
: Then disable the anon access.
:
: Click basic auth??
:
: I'm stuck.
:
: How can I make sure only useridblah can only login to the blah
: application directory.
:
: Does that make sense???
