I just bought a laptop that came with XP and after three whole days I ended
up formatting it and installing Linux on it..

Go figure how much better it actually runs now that windows is out of the
system, always make thing of a quote I heard somewhere (can't quite remember
where)..

Computers are like Air Conditioners... they work perfectly fine until you
open windows! :-)

Patches a weekly occurrence???  Just for *it's and grins I have the
automatic patch alert turned on my home computer running Win XP
professional, I have a patch that Microsoft "Strongly" recommends I install
to counter some flaw or the other every DAY!  Half the time requiring a
reboot afterwards.
