There's actually a very good chance (in my opinion) that they don't know it either... Unless you look carefully it can pass as "semi-official" and that may be all they cared about. The compnay itself is, I doubt, trying to make a polictical statement. Extreme politics and unabashed greed don't generally go together... You want to steal from EVERYBODY! I can't see a company called "MegaMooch" saying "give us money you filthy Americans!". MegaMooch is more the "Of course your butt looks good in those pants! Can I have some money?" type. It may have been some employee seeing if they could get away with it. Not the same league at all but I've added the footer "Powered by ColdFusion and Hostess Ho-Hos" to my last coupla "official" projects for Met...
